Intelligent Measurement Technology Intellisense
Blood pressure is an individual value for each user at the time of a specific measurement.
All Japanese OMRON blood pressure monitors with the patented Intellisense system take into account the condition of the patient’s blood vessels during measurement and calculate the pressure based on three possible indicators: heart rate, time, and oscillations, ensuring the patient can be confident in the accuracy of the results obtained.
Intellisense analyzes and selects the necessary combination from hundreds of thousands of possible blood pressure results.
Arrhythmia Indicator
Irregular heartbeat can affect the accuracy of measurement results. The irregular heartbeat detection algorithm automatically determines the reliability of the obtained measurement results and the need for repetition. If an irregular heartbeat is detected during measurement, but the result is reliable, it is displayed on the screen along with the arrhythmia indicator. If the irregular heartbeat leads to an unreliable measurement, the results are not displayed on the screen. If the arrhythmia indicator appears after the measurement procedure, repeat the measurement. If the arrhythmia indicator appears frequently, inform your doctor.
Cuff Placement Indicator
Ensures accurate measurement. This indicator signals whether the cuff is correctly positioned and if it may have affected the measurement result.
The blood pressure monitor features simple and convenient operation, storing the last 30 readings in memory. It is compatible with the OMRON connect app, which allows you to store measurement results on your smartphone or tablet and track their changes. The fan-shaped cuff ensures comfortable and painless measurement, with a standard size (22–32 cm) suitable for most users. The cuff placement indicator appears on the display when the cuff is correctly positioned on the arm, while the arrhythmia indicator detects irregular heart rhythms.
